Q. Are there any fees associated with the Dropship Program?
A. No, there are no charges for dropship orders. We will ship your orders free of a
dropship charge and charge only the wholesale cost of the item and a shipping charge based
on the shipping weight and destination. As a dropship dealer, you will be charged the same
low price as inventory holding dealers and in-turn receive the same high sales margins.
Q. What is the cost of shipping?
A. Shipping is charged at the same cost USPS charges for the package based on weight and
destination. There are no processing or handling fees added to the charged shipping rate.
Dropship orders may be placed for delivery to all U.S. and Canadian locations. We do not
ship orders outside of North America. Orders with a shipping address outside of the North
America will be shipped to your location where dealers may then forward the package on to
the final destination.
Q. How are dropship orders shipped and how quickly will orders be
shipped?
A. Captain Sports ships orders received before 1:00 P.M. EST the same day as received. All
others are shipped the next business day by USPS Priority Mail for fast 2 to 4 day
delivery.
Q. How will our company provide payment for submitted dropship
orders?
A. From the Dealer Control Panel you may submit a credit card for dropship order payment.
Your credit card on file will be charged at the time of shipment.
Q. What information will appear on the receipts sent to customers?
A. The receipt is technically a Packing
Slip as it does not include any prices or order totals. The information listed on the
packing slip includes your company name, a company slogan or sales message that you
specify, your customer service contact information, your web site address and a listing of
the items and quantity ordered. You may submit your company information or update your
company information that will appear on the receipts in the "Update Account Information" section of the Dealer
Control Panel.
Q. How are returns and exchanges handled?
A. Each dropship receipt that is sent to you (via e-mail) will include a Return
Merchandise Authorization number which you should issue to your customer if a return or
size exchange is requested. Returns and exchanges will be accepted for 30 days after the
initial shipment date. Products returned must be in unused condition with original
undamaged packaging. Used or damaged items will not be accepted unless the product was
originally defective. When returns are received we will credit your account for the amount
of the item(s) returned and we will notify you of the return so that you may credit the
customers account. If an exchange of a different size is requested, we will process the
exchange and ship the item to your customer at no additional cost. Please note, we cannot
exchange an item for a different item, only size exchanges can be accepted. A credit
deduction of 35% will be assessed to returns with damaged or missing packaging. There are
no restocking charges for returned and exchanged items.
Q. How do we get started?
A. Once you create an account at CaptainSports.com you will be issued a dealer number
which you may use to begin placing dropship orders. We have made it very easy to quickly
integrate Captain products into your web site or catalog. You may simply download Product Data Sheets from the Captain web site in MS Word format or
Text and quickly insert the information into your web site or catalog. Product Data Sheets
include four high resolution product images, product descriptions, product selling points
and sizing tables.
